Creation and Destruction

“Every act of creation is first an act of destruction”  – Pablo Picasso

Echoing the above quote from Picasso, I once wrote, in one of my notebooks, these words about the nature of creation and destruction :

Every moment that comes is simultaneously an act of creation and destruction. It destroys what “was” and creates what “is”. We are part of the never ending process. We are worlds within a world. We are animals caught up in the forces and cycles of nature.
